EVENT DESCRIPTION
Mutation detection in MPN (qPCR, HRM)
EVENT CONTENT
- to acquire competences in the various techniques designed to detect the JAK2 and MPL mutations characteristic of Philadelphia-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). The training school is organized in two sessions:
- Morning plenary session/lectures: theory of the techniques.
- Afternoon practical session: applicants will perform the different assays, assisted by experts.
- to get the latest information on the different mutations leading to MPN or to MPN transformation (GGCC/46.1 haplotype, TET2, CBP Alpha, CBL, ASXL-1, IDH-1, EZH, LNK…)
- to start a cooperative group which could share samples, reference materials and hopefully, generate original studies.
